Things to do at Kildale
St Cuthbert's Church next to the station.
The church is located only a short walk away from the station. In fact you can see the church through the trees from the station platform. To get to the church leave the station up the track and then take a right and turn back on yourself. The church is rather lovely inside with some lovely stain glass windows.
Kildale to Battersby walk
This is a walk I did just by chance on a revisit to the station. Although the walk is along roads they are quiet roads. There is plenty of views across fields and looking out towards the hills. The walk can be done in about an hour to an hour and a half.

Kildale to Great Ayton walk.
This is the walk I did the first time I visited the station. I had quite a bit of time thanks to the limited Sunday service. It was a lovely walk that took me over. Easby Moor. I Took a slight diversion to go and see Captain Cooks Monument.
