Circular walk at Dolwyddelan

Suggested walk around Dolwyddelan.

1. Head out of station and past the primary school. When you reach the junction with Bridge Street turn right. 

2. After about 180 yards, opposite the church there is a gate through to a footpath across the field.

3. Follow this path for about 200 yards until you join the A470.

4. Turn right then take the first left onto Allt Singrug road. Follow this lane, which turns into a stone track a little further up. Follow track for 350 yards (where there is a sharp right bend)

5. Turn left down the track, just before the cottage, head left down the footpath until you join a lane via a gate. 

6. Turn right and follow lane down to hill until you come out by the pub at a crossroad. 

7. Here there is time for a quick pint in the pub, or my personal recommendation is to head across the road to the Spar shop. Get a brew, a sandwich,  and a snack (The locally made cakes are amazing!). Take these with you and sit on a bench by the war memorial and relax and think about what a beautiful country we live in!

8. Head back down Bridge St until you arrive back to the primary school and then the station.
