Before planning a visit I would advise keeping an eye on Ulverston Tide Times and making sure your not there at high tide. Although high tide does give good photos, if you don't know the area it's not advised been near the viaduct. In addition to this at low tide I would advise you not to stand on the sand. It is part of Morecambe Bay and it is known for it's sinking sands.
