Ah hello Paddington. Time to wait for my train to Cornwall.

Who doesn't love the sight of HSTs all lined up awaiting their duties. @GWRHelp @125_RailwayInfo #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/qtaN7zc0TC
It’s here!!!! That’s me settled on the train now. My bag is in my room, I’m settled into the lounge car with a nice cold lager and a packet of crisps.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 3, 2020
Will see you all in the morning.

After a good nights sleep on the sleeper it feels like I've woke in Manchester it's raining that much ;-) #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/Iq2CYecPHv
After a short trip on 150221 from Penzance I arrive at my 2nd station of the day. The (what was) awkward station of the day - Lelant.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
After a look around and a few photos it was time to take a short walk to my next station. I'm sure you can all guess which? #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/sxxuzLgHwa
After the short walk from Lelant I arrive at Lelant Saltings. A station that is (was) used as the park & ride facility for tourists visiting St Ives.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
150221 has the honours again to take me closer towards St Ives. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/JYY6X3q0w8
Here we are then. 2nd to last station on the line. Carbis Bay.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
I chose to take a walk along the South West coast path here which would take me right into the heart of St Ives. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/5bsR1VlYME
Well after a lovely coastal walk, look around the harbour and a breakfast in Spoons it is time to head to the station and on to my next branch line.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
St Ives! You were blooming beautiful #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/bNzAU8yL5N
On my way from St Ives to my next branch line I had to change trains at the beautiful mainline station that is St Erth.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
Cornwall = Beautiful #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/7Dj2ZFNmf7
We've arrived at Truro... I am sure we all know which branch line I am now going to travel on!
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
Lunch is going to happen at my next station 😋

So after my awful pasty and cheap baked beans, I took the walk through a lovely park (have to take my word, lost the photos) to Penmere station.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
The gardens here were amazing. very impressed. Time to head to the Docks. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/M5YyXei7BW
We have now arrived at Falmouth Docks. Something which I know will annoy @AvfcSquirrel I only had time to arrive and leave on the next train out.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
I WILL RETURN TO GET VISIT THE CASTLE IN THE FUTURE. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/83EZm5pzAK
Perranwell was the next stop on my trip today. What a beautiful little station. I wasn't ready for this line to be so nice. Visit random stations people. They will surprise you! #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/KzWQscVn36
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
I've now arrive at Penryn. Safe to say this station isn't as nice as the others on the line lol. Predominantly a station used by university students from what I could tell.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
Back to Truro now - ON THE U1 kernow BUS! #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/Wl8tgtTLen
So after a bus back to Truro and then hopping on a train we have now ended up at Lostwithiel. Time for a walk about. Quite an awkward station to do given more trains don't stop here than what does. Amazing how much the weather can change in a day as well! #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/BniTQuAP5v

After the making the bus journey on the T2 bus I arrived at Redruth where I headed for the station and had just a few minutes before my train arrived to take me to the final station of the day.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
One more station to go... #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/XL01k5YeK7
We have now arrived at Camborne. The last station of the day.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 4, 2020
I hope everyone has enjoyed following my virtual reality day out on the Cornish Branch Lines. Tomorrow we do it all again. The Looe Valley Line & The Tamar Valley Line. Until tomorrow :) #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/Lp5VvpsijH
Good Morning everyone. The weather over night has turned Cornwall into a winter wonderland!
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
You find me at Coombe Junction Halt this morning where I have just alighted a service from Liskeard.
Doesn't Cornwall look amazing in the snow... #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE #IMAGINATIONNEEDED pic.twitter.com/poZI9Cv2Jr
After an interesting walk along the country lanes covered in snow I arrive at St Keyne Wishing Well Halt.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
A delightful station, maybe more delightful than Coombe Junction....🤷♂️
I really hope this snow clears soon 😉 #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/i6q7YhqLmW
We arrive at Sandplace to find the snow has melted, the ground has dried out and the sun is shining in a wonderfully clear blue sky...
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
My favourite branch line in Cornwall :) #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE #IMAGINATIONNEEDED pic.twitter.com/s6rAIW3c2X
After a delightful walk in the sunshine it's we have now arrived at Causeland station. I love this station so much! It's truly beautiful!
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Time to wait for the train to take me to Looe. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/FtVirhoabS
Looe sea front and harbour was really beautiful. pic.twitter.com/xPADitD4Sm
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Damn you snow... It's back! Maybe I should of done this one first.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Anyway. We at Liskeard station ready to head to the Tamar Valley line... Let's go! pic.twitter.com/0AYkwZ0rXd
We are now at Plymouth. This is where we will await the departure to Gunnislake.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
I've had a Cornish Pasty from the Spar shop and it was awful! Worst pasty ever! A mars bar and bag of Quavers got rid of the taste though. #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/T2tuRfM0M1
End of the line... We are now at Gunnislake where I am about to take a lovely walk down the country lanes to Calstock.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Gunnislake is somewhere I looked forward to visiting for a long time. Think it just stood out as a must visit place on the rail map! #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/sN3v1KabXV
After that walk we have made it to Calstock. The viaduct was amazing. As is the shelter at the station. That walk felt much longer than what google maps says it is!
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
NEVER TRUST GOOGLE MAPS TIMINGS!
Onwards to Bere Ferrers we go! #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/cuVbfsig2D

— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Had time for a quick walk into the village and had a look in the beautiful tiny church. pic.twitter.com/X5COfeyngF
We have arrived at Bere Alston! Wish I could now get a train to Tavistock for my hotel. But nope, courtesy of Dr Beeching that journey will have to be made on a bus 🙄🤷♂️.
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Bere Alston is also my final station on the Tamar Valley line bringing a close to #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE. pic.twitter.com/2PuqCF3cTW
I hope everyone has enjoyed the virtual adventure on the Cornish branch lines? Hopefully it's helped relieve some of the annoyance of been stuck at home?
— Every Last Station (@every_station) April 5, 2020
Anyway... Same again next weekend? #ELSVIRTUALADVENTURE pic.twitter.com/HVfVfDLjyV
